Leila's Report
For weeks we have planned the BBC project which was an honour for our school to take part in. Alexandra , Sarah and Leila (me) are part of the Media Team who were mainly involved in this project. We took on the challenge and made the best out of it . We had several ideas but finally we came to the conclusion that our theme was …….BREXIT!. Pretty exciting right? We choose this because our school has many cultures and students & teachers come from various places that it will definitely effect our school . We started planning to make our report the best. This experience was extremely fun to film and we took on a lot or responsibility and effort. Thanks for our amazing teacher Mrs.Arrowsmith , she supported us and helped us achieve this. On Thursday 16 March was the day we started filming our project. We used an extremely expensive camera that we were proud to have and started our journey. We filmed our intro first in different locations and overall chose one that we were comfortable in and fitted with the atmosphere. We were proud to wear our BBC badges during the filming and outside school. Next we chose people for our interviews and used our skills to the test! And came out pretty well. Over all the experience was really nice and would re-do it if possible! |
Sarah's Report
About some 3 weeks ago me, Leila and Alexandra planned on doing a good report about Brexit when we were in media club which we thought was a great opportunity. We chose to do our report on brexit because we thought it would affect most of our school and we would have good responses in interviews about it. On the day of filming we were planning out on were we would do our intro and where we would do our interviews we ended up doing our intro outside in front of school which turned out a bit windy and took a while but we finally got it at the end and it turned out pretty well, then we started doing interviews which was very exciting and so we picked some people and asked questions like what they knew about brexit and what they voted. As we expected there were very good responses from most people. When we finished interviewing people (students and teachers) we did the outro and we had a great time also filming the people walking past the playground going to lessons etc. At the end of the day we had a lot of fun doing this report. |
